THE SPIRIT OF THE TUSCAN RENAISSANCE
Completely immersed in a natural environment and surrounded by olive trees and
by its own vineyards, the Fattoria la Loggia is in the heart of the Chianti Classico,
15 km to the south of Florence, and is placed on top of a hill from which you
can enjoy a panoramic view of great beauty and fascination.
The Fattoria is made up of a village of ancient farmhouses and dates back to
1427. In the Renaissance the Fattoria la Loggia belonged formerly to the Buondelmonti
and then to the Medici family, lords of Florence.
Various works and sculptures of major contemporary Italian and foreign artists
are installed in some of the most attractive parts of the village and in the
gardens of the master’s villa.
The village of the Fattoria La Loggia, arrived to us with all the taste of the
centuries, is able to offer its guests a stay made of accurate services and of
elegant and informal cordiality, where the magic atmosphere from the past fuses
with the warmth of the Tuscan rural tradition.
The works are part of the permanent collection created by the La Loggia Art Center.
